I started working with Hand of Fate right after they lost their designer last year. They already had a very defined brand and a label template that I needed to follow closely. Being a classically trained graphic designer, I understand how important brand continuity is and I respect when a business enforces theirs. It's never easy to jump into someone else's shoes. Everyone has a unique way of doing things... especially when it comes to graphic design. These labels were time-consuming and some of my most challenging work, but I am proud of how they turned out and I am pleased that I was able to pay homage to the original "playing card" style.
