I feel extremely lucky to have come along for this ride with the talented guys of Union Avenue, a high-energy, 1950's style Rockabilly Band based out of Bloomington, Illinois. Steve Knecht, the upright bass player, contacted me in the Fall of 2021 about designing a logo for his new band. I had a quick branding meeting with them to determine the vibe, colors, look & feel, then sent them a handful of logo ideas of which they picked the one below. What started out as "just a little logo design project" turned into a full branding initiative with merch, posters, website, several photo sessions, a 45" EP record design and now a CD design, as they grew in popularity in less than 2 years time!
